Gloucester Light Infantry
Field Music
Gloucester Light Infantry Field Music is a recent addition to the Gloucester Light
Infantry.  It was established in June 2006 by Captain JoAnna Arias.  Captain Arias is
providing instruction at this time to all fifers, while Major Joseph Arias is providing
drum instruction.  Practices are held at the Armory located on Dorr Drive in
Chepachet, RI.  The fife and drum corps is seeking new members to fill in the ranks.
Enlistees of any musical background are invited to join us at the Armory every
Thursday at 6:30pm.  Saturday practices are held on Saturday afternoons at 3pm
for anyone interested in extra practice.   All training will be provided.

The fife and drum has come a long way since June 2006 and has been performing
in parades, ceremonies, musters, and 18th century battle re-enactments, and also
camps 18th century style for many events.
