Gloucester Light
Infantry
Field Music
Gloucester Light Infantry Field Music is a recent addition to the Gloucester Light
Infantry.  It was established in June 2006 by Fife Major JoAnna Arias.  Fife Major
Arias is providing instruction at this time to all fifers, while Major Joseph Arias is
providing drum instruction.  The Fife & Drum meets Thursday evenings at 7pm at
the Armory located on Dorr Drive in Chepachet, RI.  The fife and drum corps is
seeking new members to fill in the ranks.  Enlistees of any musical background are
invited to join us at the Armory on
Thursday evenings at 6:30pm.  All training will be
provided.

This will be the fife & drum corps first season as a corps and has several parades
and re-enactments lined up.  We will be working hard to raise funds to provide the
corps with new uniforms and drums.  Also, the unit hopes to host a small gathering
for other fife & drum corps in Rhode Island to get to know others involved in fifing
and drumming.

A special thanks to the Kentish Guards for their support to the unit.
